Happy’s Place finally premiered over the weekend, and fans could not wait to see Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman together again since Reba in the 2000s. After the new series dropped, viewers took to social media to share their candid thoughts with suggestions to improve the show.

Thankfully, fans are willing to extend a benefit of the doubt to the series, noting that Reba is their reason for staying. Someone said they would wait it out the whole debut season, noting that some new shows need that much time to find their footing.

Fans took to X to give their unbiased opinion about Happy’s Place’s first episode. Someone noted that the show has a character problem that requires fixing, noting that some of them lacked depth and the dialogue felt unnatural.

Reba received backlash from her conservative fans, who called her out for adopting liberal ideologies in the debut episode. “Sad that even someone like her has fallen into the liberal trap to earn money. Loved Reba, don’t like Happy’s Place so far,” an offended fan wrote.

Although many seemed to complain about the Happy’s Place pilot, a few people loved it and could not wait to get into the show properly. “Put her in coach!! Reba is back on tv, and she’s bringing all the laughs and fun… I am so happy for her and everyone on the team!! Go Reba Go!” someone gushed.

Some were simply excited about the reunion between Reba and Melissa. “Ok I forgive you!! These two together!! They are the best!” a second user exclaimed alongside a fun video of both ladies on set. Episode 2 is set to air on NBC by October 25, and hopefully, fans will be completely won over this time.
