Michael Jackson’s son, Bigi Jackson a.k.a. Blanket was recently spotted grabbing lunch in Calabasas, California. The 22-year-old wore a T-shirt with Avengers figures on the front, and a pair of green shorts as he strutted the street with Mexican food in hand.
Blanket was photographed at different angles as he left Sharky’s restaurant, sporting a hairstyle similar to his late dad’s. This comes after his Target shopping months ago, where he wore a similar outfit but a Star Wars shirt instead.

Blanket is the most private of Jackson’s three children— the others being Prince and Paris. He was born via surrogate to Jackson and his first wife, Debbie Rowe, in 2002, although his birth mother is not known. Blanket and his older brother Prince are quite close.
In 2021, he expressed his passion for climate change advocacy and called the attention of world leaders to the global problem. He also gushed about his siblings during the chat on Good Morning Britain, acknowledging them for picking up the slack after their father passed away in 2009.
Why did Blanket change his name?
Originally named Prince Michael Jackson II, Blanket’s dad Jackson nicknamed him as an expression of love, care and protection, however, it did not reflect the meaning as the young boy grew. Blanket reportedly changed his name to Bigi Jackson in 2015, after suffering bullying at school for his moniker.

Blanket attended the Buckley private school in Sherman Oaks, California, and lived with his cousin T.J. Jackson for the latter part of his teen years. Blanket had a hard time moving on from Jackson’s death, but threw himself into school work and sporting activities while spending time with his many cousins away from the spotlight.
