Shirley MacLaine Takes Spirituality Seriously At 90, Practices ‘White Magic’

Shirley MacLaine has been quite open about her spiritual beliefs as she often dabbles into white magic and spells. She not only practices these for herself, but also helps others out of problems with her knowledge.

The 90-year-old, who played Endora in Bewitched, joked about her irony of being a real-life witch, and enjoys being called that. Although her beliefs may be generally controversial, she noted that her practices are rooted in good intentions and self-improvement.

Shirley wrote in her 2011 release I’m Over All That: and Other Confessions that her past self and experiences have equipped her for the present one. She claims to have lived as an androgynous being during the pre-Atlantis era and as a harem girl in the home of a Pasha in Turkey.

She has lived in the hills of Spain as a gypsy, and also worked as an entertainer in Isfahan. According to an insider, Shirley does not fear death because she believes she will reincarnate as someone else. She also has the ability to look into people’s eyes and know things about them.

While Shirley remains committed to a lifestyle that reveres the supernatural, she is also keen on enjoying the real world without factoring age in. Few weeks ago, she was spotted at Kristy’s in Malibu, California in a long-sleeved shirt and sweatpants. She looked gorgeous in the causal fit, which she accessorized with a pair of large sunglasses and a white visor.

The mother of one and grandmother to two, is set to release her latest book The Wall of Life next month, and it promises to depict the highlights of her 70-year-long Hollywood career. Shirley’s goal for writing her latest is to share her wonderful life with others and to show off the memories she has made so far in 150 rare shots.
