Charlie Sheen is the father of 15-year-old twin boys Bob and Max. Although they usually stay out of the spotlight, on August 15, they made a rare appearance for a special occasion: wishing their mother, Brooke Mueller, a very happy birthday.
Sheen has been married three times: first to Donna Peele from ’96 to ’97, then to actress and television personality Denise Richards for roughly four years. Finally, he tied the knot with actress Brooke Mueller, who he married in 2008 and divorced in 2011. Since then, he has had on-and-off relationships with various women. Sheen is also the father of Sami, 20, and Lola, 19, and Cassandra Jade Estevez, 39.

Both Max and Bob posed beside their mother, 47-year-old Brooke, everyone sharply dressed for the joyous occasion. Although the twins wore comfortable shorts, they gave a nod to some formality with matching black shirts. In the middle stood Brooke with a white lacy dress featuring delicate strands hanging just above her knees.

Sheen and Brooke got married on May 30, 2008. They welcomed the twins into the world on March 14, 2009. However, the following November, Sheen filed for divorce, and almost exactly a year later, police removed the twins from Sheen’s home. According to People, social services removed the twins because Brooke had filed a restraining order against Sheen, with Mueller expressing in the associated paperwork, “I am very concerned that [Sheen] is currently insane.”

Speaking with People about his relationship with his two youngest, Sheen said that the twins appreciate that he is maintaining sobriety. Mueller, Sheen said, had relapsed last year. “She’s trying to figure some stuff out on her end,” he said, adding that the twins appreciated how he handled that difficult time for the disjointed family.
“The boys are proud of me, now,” said Sheen. “They see what mom goes through, and I’m not dumping on mom because I know it’s a thing.”
While Sheen got entangled in litigation battles years ago, today, Mueller finds herself in the spotlight more these days. According to People, Mueller was questioned by authorities earlier this week concerning her history with her ex, Friends star Matthew Perry, who died suddenly on October 28, 2023, at the age of just 54, following a fatal drug overdose; ketamine was found in his system. Mueller, however, has not been charged in relation to his death.
