Rosa Doherty is carrying on her daughter’s legacy by taking over as the host of Shannen’s Let’s Be Clear podcast. Shannen Doherty’s death due to cancer not only left a vacuum in the hearts of her fans and loved ones but also threatened the end of her podcast.
Thankfully, her mother will keep the show alive as the podcast’s first anniversary approaches. This is happening based on Shannen’s wishes, and although Rosa admits to not being as well-spoken, she is willing to try her best.
Shannen Doherty’s podcast meant a lot to her
After being forced to take a break from Hollywood due to her cancer diagnosis, Shannen found her voice again via the podcast, which she used as an outlet to clarify her truth and connect with fans. She also used her platform to create awareness about breast cancer and to straighten out inaccuracies about her life in the media.

According to Rosa, Let’s Be Clear helped her to remain strong, while also being away from harsh reality. The description for Rosa’s debut episode stated that there was no person better at fulfilling Shannen’s goal of spreading love, laughter and purpose.
Shannen credited Rosa for her diligence
Last November, Shannen revealed that Rosa instilled strength and hard work in her at a young age. She recalled seeing Rosa suffering from a brain aneurysm and refusing to give up regardless. At the time of the interview, Shannen had undergone brain surgery but received a tragic update about the cancer spreading to her bones.
Although the actress was unable to fulfill some of her dreams of traveling, moving to Europe, and purchasing a new home, she was able to touch lives by giving out her belongings and helping those in need. Rosa’s hosting debut features Shannen’s longtime friend Anne Marie Kortright, with whom she discusses the late star’s lasting legacy.
