Adele is tying the knot in style and bringing back a classic while doing it! After her relationship status had been the stuff of mysteries for some time, Adele seems to have confirmed that she is engaged to her boyfriend—now fiancé—Rich Paul.
36-year-old Adele first met Paul while they were attending a mutual friend’s birthday party. Their relationship gained serious momentum in 2021. Three years after going public as a dating, it seems that they are moving on to the next phase of their relationship—and Adele’s engagement ring has everyone feeling nostalgic for the pear-shaped style of diamond ring all over again.
Adele apparently confirms she is, in fact, engaged to boyfriend Rich Paul
Anyone would feel honored to be married to the illustrious, talented Adele. Definitely checks off the grand gesture category of proposal, but unfortunately it came too late.

“I can’t marry you,” Adele informed the fan, “I’m already getting married.” To drive the point home, she waved her left hand in front of her, showing off a stunning 8ct yellow gold band and the pear-shaped diamond fastened to it. According to People, fans can trace Adele starting to wear an engagement ring in earnest sometime last month—all while out and about with her sweetheart.
Adele may be starting familiar trends with that diamond ring, while embarking on her own very new journey
Adele briefly tied the knot with charity entrepreneur Simon Konecki, in a marriage that lasted from 2018 to 2021; their relationship began back in 2011 and saw the birth of their son a year after they started dating. What she has with Paul, however, feels like an entirely different experience, one without precedent.
“I’ve never been in love like this,” she admitted to Elle in August of 2022. “I’m obsessed with him.”

Hello! calls it a mix of timeless and undeniably vintage. It’s a very peculiar shape, with various Reddit threads and other forums full of people discussing the pros and cons of choosing this. Its history with being the odd shape out makes it all the more endearing, though, and something that the wearer must really consider when pursuing it.
