Arnold Schwarzenegger had an unforgettable 77th birthday this week as he was celebrated by family, including his son-in-law Chris Pratt, who took to Instagram with a brief but heartfelt note and a few photos featuring wholesome moments with Arnold.

The iconic actor seems to be aging gorgeously as he poses with Pratt over a game of chess in the first slide and reclines into a sofa with a big smile on his face in the next. He was also captured in the kitchen with his granddaughters Lyla and Eloise, and a pig nearby.

Pratt detailed some highlights of having Arnold as a father-in-law in his birthday tribute, noting that he looked forward to another year of “sage advice, good cigars, chess whoopings and hand feeding homemade cookies to the many barn animals that live in your kitchen.”

Arnold still has his good looks at 77 thanks to good genes, regular workouts spanning at least an hour a day and healthy meals. The father of five enjoys swimming, cycling and resistance training and keeps to a protein-rich, plant-based diet with lots of fruits and vegetables while substituting regular milk for almond milk.

Per retirement, Arnold is not leaving the spotlight anytime soon because he loves his job. Although he seems to have a hang of aging, Arnold admitted to feeling inadequate last year due to changes in his body, especially after living most of his young adult life as a Hollywood action hero.
