John Schneider Suing Stepdaughter As She Attempts To Sell ‘Dukes Of Hazzard’ Memorabilia

by Peace A

Published July 25, 2024

John Schneider is out to protect memorabilia from his Dukes of Hazzard career and is taking steps to prevent his stepdaughter, Jessica Dollard, from selling them. He recently filed a lawsuit against Maven Entertainment Group LLC, which his late wife Alicia Allain ran with his film studio and Jessica before her passing.

John presented a case of breach of contract, stating that the company is in illegal possession of his property, which he hopes to repossess by the year’s end. He claimed his assets were moved under false pretense, and he is demanding them back before Jessica makes a move to sell them off.

Like John wanted, M&E Partners and Integra Asset Solutions received backlash and threats from the film star’s followers on Facebook, prompting the businesses to address misconceptions via statements from their counsel.

John thanked his supporters for helping to take down the auction, noting that a united people can do anything. He encouraged his fans not to relent as it was not over yet, but he celebrated the current “battle” that had been won. John’s  legal counsel, Stephen M. Gelé, of Griffin & Bivalacqua LLC, joined him to appreciate his fanbase and echoed his resolve to “defend what he worked hard for.”

John’s General Lee was part of the auctioned goods

Jessica intended to sell John’s movie props, film scripts, autograph memorabilia, and his prized General Lee, which he had been seeking for months. John also called out the auction houses for listing his late spouse’s ashes for sale. However, they issued a statement to deny this allegation via their legal counsel, clarifying that they are not in control of Allain’s remains.

The auction was slated for July 30, but amid pressure from John and his fans, both companies were forced to cancel the sale. John has been most vocal about his General Lee, which Allain gifted him on Facebook Live during his birthday.
