According to recent reports, Seacrest is set to earn an impressive $28 million annually as the new host of Wheel of Fortune. This substantial salary is nearly double what the previous host, Sajak, earned, which was $15 million per season, and will also significantly surpass his earnings from American Idol, where he reportedly made $12 million per season.

In contrast, Vanna will receive a comparatively modest $6 million per season. Sources have indicated that she is quite unhappy with this arrangement and may be considering leaving the show soon.

With the new season of Wheel of Fortune set to broadcast in September, Insiders revealed that tension has been building between the co-hosts as filming is underway. A source, speaking with RadarOnline, explained that the dispute began when the recording started in May, and White, a longtimer on the show, attempted to offer Seacrest advice and guide him. However, Seacrest, known for being a control freak, asserted that he would handle things his way and wasn’t trying to emulate Pat Sajak.

It doesn’t seem like the tension between Vanna and Seacrest will ease off soon with the recent revelation about the wide pay gap between them despite Vanna having spent more than two decades on the show.
