Some were concerned about the X-rated lyrics of the song, asking the adult if he knew the words, to which she responded saying, “None of us knew the words at this age… innocence is sweet.” Another TikTok user wrote, “I was holding my breath waiting to see if he was going to sing the naughty words to that song lol.”

A classic through generations

Grease helped put Travolta even more on the map after Saturday Night Fever and was the highest-grossing musical film of its time. The wholesome video of the talented toddler comes just a month after Travolta paid tribute to his late Grease co-star Susan Buckner, who recently died at 72. Susan played cheerleader Patty Simcox alongside Travolta’s Danny and the late Olivia John-Newton’s Sandy.

Nearly five decades since its release, Grease has remained culturally relevant with its duet featuring Travolta and John, “You’re The One That I Want,” topping the charts as the best-selling duet of all time. Landing the role of Danny was a dream come true for Travolta, who had studied the character since its inaugural Broadway production in 1972.
