Kate Hudson recently took to Instagram to celebrate Mother’s Day with photos featuring herself, her kids, and their grandmother, Goldie Hawn. The hearty post included slides showing mother and daughter sharing a hug, having fun at an event, and Goldie surrounded by six of her eight grandchildren.
“The most beautiful woman in the world to me! Forever and always. Happy Mothers Day Mama!” Kate’s caption read. Fans took the chance to wish Kate and her mom as well while admiring their relationship. “You are very lucky to have Goldie as your Mother as she is to have you as her daughter!” someone wrote.

The actress thanked her beautiful children for making her proud and making living fun while affirming that they are her “everything.” Kate’s fans sent their love again, while also expressing their love for her new 12-track album, Glorious. “Excellent pictures of a great actress and singer, who has a wonderful family. Cheers,” a user stated.
Kate, who lives a few blocks away from her mother and stepfather Kurt Rusell, claims she was quite “codependent” on Goldie, although they ironically hardly see each other. Goldie shares Kate with her ex-husband, Bill Hudson, and their short-lived marriage ended in 1980. Kate recently claimed she has forgiven Bill after having “been through all the rage stuff.”

Kate has credited Goldie with inspiring her and giving her “the floor to be able to feel confident enough to go out and feel like my life could be my own.” Goldie also inspires her parenting, and although her marriage to Chris Robinson failed, Kate has learned to focus on her kids and never define herself from a man’s eyes.
