However, it was his lead role as Steve Austin in the ’70s action series, The Six Million Dollar Man that earned him wide acclaim and made him a pop icon. Aside from his blooming acting career, Majors is also known for his high-profile relationship. The father of four recently clocked 85 and took to Instagram to share a celebratory post with his fans. “This is 85! Or as I like to say “58” Thank you for all the birthday wishes! Feeling very blessed and grateful,” he gushed, captioning a photo of him seated in front of his birthday cake with a bright smile.

Although Majors appeared older in the birthday photo, he looked healthy, full of life, and seemed genuinely happy about how far he had come in life and his fans were quick to attest to that in the comment section as they took him back on memory lane to the ’70s stating how he has been their hero. “Happy Birthday to my greatest hero since I‘m 6 years old and still until today,” a fan wrote.

Another fan also reminded Majors about his late ex-wife, Farrah Fawcett, and how they inspired them growing up, “Mr. Bionic!!! One of my childhood heroes along with Farrah, I had your action figure as a child I still wish I get the chance to meet you.”
As per his relationship with Farrah, it seems the 85-year-old didn’t understand how marriage worked in his early adult years, evident by his three previous failed marriages. Majors tied the knot with his first wife, Kathy Robinson, who was also his high school lover, in 1961 and welcomed a son who followed in his dad’s footsteps. However, four years later, the couple went their separate ways, and by 1973, the actor found love again and married Charlie’s Angels star Farrah Fawcett. They became a Hollywood power couple through the ’70s, but their relationship only lasted nine years, and they cited their busy schedules as the major cause.
Majors walked down the aisle with Karen Velez for the third time in 1998. However, it seems the actor didn’t get the connection he longed for, and the relationship ended in divorce in 1994. Eight years later, the father of four married Faith Majors, who appeared to be his soulmate, as they have been married for over two decades.
