90-Year-Old Joan Collins Shows Fans She’s Barely Aged With Throwback Photo

Dame Joan Collins recently took to Instagram with a photo of herself from the ‘80s and her followers could not help but note how youthful the actress has remained. From her caption, Joan posed with Jack Nicholson and Lynn Wyatt at a glamorous party on the Riviera.

The actress who celebrated 70 years in Hollywood last year, wore her signature bouffant hairstyle and a lace white gown in the photo. “You still look the same and fabulous as always!” a fan gushed, and another agreed saying Joan “still looks the same.” “Head-turner,” they quipped.

Joan has been quite open about her beauty secrets, as well as how she maintains an ageless appearance. She often credits her nutritionist, Gabriela, for “wise and wonderful” diet advice. “And her tips for looking good and feeling fabulous are always priceless,” the 90-year-old star added. Joan maintains her figure by eating smaller food portions, omega-3-rich foods, “unflavored live yogurts without a lot of sugar” for energy, and berries to “help boost longevity.”

She also swears by sunscreen which she never fails to wear outside the house. “I have always worn sun protection, and have kept my face away from harmful rays since I was 20,” she told You in 2014. “You should see me when I wake up in the morning: my face is so white, it’s like a sheet.” Joan also enjoys working out and swimming, as well as indulging in snacks often. “I don’t deprive myself— I eat chocolates, cookies, and nuts: I drink wine and the occasional vodka tonic,” the Hollywood Golden Age icon once admitted.

Despite being one of the oldest living Hollywood icons still in show business, Joan prefers to keep working because she enjoys her luxury lifestyle. “I work. because I have to make a living. This is what astounds me. What kind of money do you think I have?” she told The Times. In fact, Joan considers the question of her retirement to be “rude” as she noted while promoting her 2021 book My Unapologetic Diaries. “Don’t f***ing ask me that question, don’t use that word, ‘retire,’” she warned.

Joan also noted that her profession “has to use older people” as well, and “people are living longer and living healthier.”

“There’s a perception about getting old that’s outdated,” she said. As with her thriving career, Joan never gave up on love either as she is currently in her fifth marriage to 59-year-old Percy Gibson. “We love each other, adore each other— as people, not just husband and wife or lovers. We like each other,” she said told E! News’ Carolina Bermudez in January.
