Rumors of Priscilla Presley having her eyes on Dallas co-star Patrick Duffy have been flying around. However, the actress has come forward to set things straight. During a Q&A session at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, Priscilla told the audience it was all lies.
While sharing details about her career and life post-Elvis, Priscilla said she learned about the “whole big thing out there that I love Patrick Duffy” while “reading this in a magazine that someone showed me yesterday.” “I’m going, ‘This is unbelievable, really, this is so crazy,’” she added, recalling how shocked she was at the claims.

Amid the gossip, Priscilla and Duffy attended a recent Dallas cast reunion with their partner, Linda Purl. “I hadn’t seen him in a long time, and it was a great reunion. Patrick told me how happy he was, and we talked to the audience, and they had questions for us, and that’s it,” Priscilla, who is turning 79 in May, clarified.

Duffy has been dating Purl since 2020, three years after losing his ballerina wife, Carlyn Rosser, to cancer. He shared two sons, Padriac and Connor, with his late wife and hardly held back on grieving her in previous interviews. “I know what she would expect of me, and I try and live up to that. I feel close to her all the time; what I miss most is her touch. I still consider myself a married man,” the Step By Step actor told Closer Weekly.
Priscilla had a swell time working with Duffy as Jenna Wade in six seasons of the ‘80s classic drama series Dallas, where Duffy played her high school sweetheart, Bobby Ewing. Last December, Duffy shared a similar sentiment, admitting he was starstruck on learning he was to work with “Elvis’ Priscilla.”
“It was unbelievable,” he said of their first scene together. “It was another one of those gifts that…you’re honored to receive in our business.”
While filming the 14-season show, Priscilla lost her ex-husband, Elvis. However, she never held back on her true feelings despite their divorce a decade prior. “Every girl went after him…and don’t get me wrong. I’ve never not loved Elvis, like, to this day. He was an amazing human being. He had a big heart, but, unfortunately, he was Elvis Presley, and every woman and every girl went after him,” she said, referring to the Rock ‘n’ Roll King’s famously wandering eye.
