The 10 Things That Only Your Childhood Best Friend Understands

There is nothing more endearing and special than your best childhood friend. To this day, my childhood best friend is as close to me as a sister. There is something to be said about the building bond between friends, especially that one person you have known almost a lifetime. The memories shared of birthday parties, sleepovers, photographs, summer camp, crushes, a first kiss and SO much more, is a bond that can never be broken. Even if I don’t see or speak with my bestie, as much as I would like, I know when I see her the friendship picks up exactly where we left off. We see past the age spots, receding hairlines, cellulite and widening waistlines and revert back to the same children we each knew. Although our friendship has grown up, it has never grown apart.

There are many categories of friendships. You have work friends, school friends, drinking pals, acquaintances and more. But nothing compares to that of your BFF from childhood.
