45 years into her career, 65-year-old Madonna is still on the stage. On top of that, even the Queen of Pop fell during a superstar performance, but Madonna managed to play off the flub with a smile on her face and even incorporated the mishap into her routine.

Madonna has been in the midst of her Celebration tour since last year, working even after a serious health scare that left her hospitalized. The tour is set to wrap up in late April, but recently, Madonna found herself enjoying the Emerald City of Seattle, even though she took quite the dramatic tumble along the way.

According to New York Post, Madonna reportedly insists on rehearsing for over 12 hours a day and works alongside dancers “a fraction of her age.” This is to try and keep up with acts like Taylor Swift, who is in the midst of her own Eras tour spanning over 150 shows across five continents. Madonna has planned out a 79-show tour, performing two dozen hits for two hours.

On Sunday, Madonna belted out 1986’s “Open Your Heart.” At one point, one of the dancers their footing. Madonna ended dragged down and fell backwards while still performing on stage.

While still on the floor, Madonna put on a broad smile and continued singing, moving gracefully on the stage like that was all part of the performance. The crew helped one another reorient, with Madonna’s smile proving contagious.

The scene was shared online and quickly became a viral hit, with fans praising Madonna for her graceful and gracious way of handling the mishap. “She’s the Queen for a reason,” one fan gushed, adding, “That laugh was everything!”

All this is a stark contrast to the dire health scare Madonna suffered last summer when she battled a severe bacterial infection that left her unresponsive in her home and requiring extensive medical attention. But Madonna and intensity are no strangers, especially when it comes to her schedule, regardless of all other outside influences.

In fact, according to a press release, Madonna made plans to travel with three mobile gyms along with three physical therapists to maintain her athletic capabilities. Some other numbers of interest include 45 wardrobe trunks, 17 archived costumes recreated just for the Celebration tour, and 80 tons of production equipment. But the only number Madonna is particularly concerned with is the level of enjoyment she can bring to her fans, as she shared, “I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for.”
