Fans are gushing over a video of Ozzy Osbourne’s granddaughter, Maple Artemis, who was watching him perform on TV. She must have assumed he was singing to her as she called out “Papa, papa” to the screen, melting the hearts of viewers.
Ozzy welcomed his grandkid in 2021 when his son, Jack Osbourne, had her after three preceding children. Maple was next to her dad, who watched her recognize and admire Ozzy with a smile. “Omg! I love this! Imagine growing up to learn your grandpa is Ozzy Osbourne,” a fan exclaimed after seeing the clip on TikTok.

News shared Maple’s reaction to her famous grandad on social media, and users could not get enough of the cuteness. “I could be wrong, but I think Ozzy is Maple’s person,” someone noted. “And this is how you know what kind of grandpa Ozzy is,” another added, insinuating that Ozzy is an awesome grandfather hence her obvious admiration for him.

Others were glad to see Ozzy as a family man beyond his celebrity status as a multiple award-winning rock star. “Ozzy has been a lot of things from Prince of Darkness to reality TV star. However, I think being a papa has been my favorite,” a TikTok user sweetly penned. “Hearing Ozzy called ‘papa’ is a trip in itself. I’m so old,” a fan of his gushed.
On a November 2023 episode of The Osbournes Podcast, Jack revealed that Maple was actually scared of the “Mr. Crowley” singer. After Ozzy asked that his grandkids visit him soon, his 38-year-old son responded, “I f–kin’ will. She’s scared of you in real life.”
From the circulating clip of Maple seeing Ozzy sing, it’s hard to believe she is scared of him; that she is proud of the Osbourne patriarch might be a better word. “She does the ‘ay, ay, ay,’ but she’s pointing at the TV going, ‘Papa, Papa, Papa, Papa, Papa,’ just on repeat like a broken record. In real life, when she sees him, she like, ‘Oh f**k, there he is,’” Jack said of her.
