“You need to be an example to all women. Especially the younger women, and that’s not a good example. I am surprised and sad,” another added, disapproving of her dress.
Candace feels ‘stronger’ in her 40s
Candace lives a healthy lifestyle involving physical activity and safe eating. She often shares clips of her workout routine consisting of planks, dumbbells, and core-building exercises on Instagram. “I feel stronger at 45 than I did when I was 20 years old,” she once said. “It’s just every time you get stronger, or I see my muscles from doing more push-ups, it keeps me going.”
She also enjoys spending time with family, particularly her kids whom she took a hiatus from the spotlight for. “God took me out of the industry for a good 10 years. I didn’t work in the industry so that I could be a mom,” she admitted on her podcast. “And there were days I struggled and struggled.”
