Pierce Brosnan Set To Make Court Appearance After Trespassing In Yellowstone Park

Pierce Brosnan, known for his iconic portrayal of James Bond in four films, is currently facing legal challenges stemming from an alleged incident of trespassing at Yellowstone National Park. During a recent visit to the park, the actor was reportedly found in a restricted area, violating regulations set by the National Park Service regarding thermal zones in hot springs.

Brosnan’s violation is considered a transgression of the prescribed guidelines, emphasizing the critical importance of guests staying on designated boardwalks and trails. The strict adherence to these guidelines is underscored by the historical record of casualties resulting from encounters with the hazardous hot springs within Yellowstone.

Brosnan was rumored to have been spotted while taking a leisurely stroll within the vicinity of the national park while he was working on the upcoming film Unholy Trinity, a western that also features notable actors such as Samuel L. Jackson and David Arquette.

However, the US Attorney’s office in Wyoming informed the Associated Press that the actor’s presence in the park on Wednesday, November 1, was on a personal visit basis, entirely unrelated to his ongoing movie shoot.

He is set to appear in court next year

Following the unauthorized visit, the Black Adam star was called out by authorities and is scheduled to make an appearance at the Yellowstone Justice Center on January 23rd.

According to the court documents acquired by reporters, the 70-year-old is facing charges related to a minor offense, specifically for engaging in “foot travel in all thermal areas within Yellowstone Canyon confined to trails” and for “violating closures and use limits.”
