Kelly Osbourne Celebrates Ozzy With Family Photo Following News He Has Ten Years Left

Ozzy Osbourne turned 75 on Sunday, and his daughter, Kelly, shared a family snap featuring her parents, her partner, Sid Wilson, and their one-year-old, Sidney. Also present was her brother Jack with his wife and four daughters. “Yesterday was my Dadda’s birthday although we kept it low key we had the best time,” she captioned the photo.

The adorable photo shows Ozzy holding his grandson as the rest of the family surrounds him. “We are always the best versions of ourselves when we are together,” Kelly added. “I love my family so much it hurts. Dad, you are the other pea in my pod. I love you to the moon and back.”

Ozzy gets honest about his condition

Ozzy has been more candid about his health since revealing his Parkinson’s disease diagnosis in 2020— he received the report in 2003, the same year he suffered a quad bike accident in his estate. His health condition worsened after he had another fall in 2019, leading to multiple surgeries that have left him “virtually crippled.”

He recently told Rolling Stone UK that he does not fear dying and would rather be euthanized than “have a long, painful, and miserable existence.” Ozzy also revealed he has another surgery scheduled to fix “two vertebrae where the bike hit me and disintegrated.”

“All I know is right now, I’m in a lot of pain, I’m in a lot of discomfort,” the iconic singer said after Jack asked if the surgeons would fuse discs in his back.

Ozzy admits he is in constant pain

After reluctantly canceling his first show in five years earlier this year, Ozzy admits he is in “constant pain” and is trying to stay away from painkillers. “I feel like a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest. The only thing I’ve got that keeps me going is making records. But I can’t do that forever,” he added, referring to the incessant surgeries he has had to do.

He originally planned to get back on stage in the summer of 2024 but is beginning to accept its unlikelihood. “Unfortunately, my body is telling me that I’m just not ready yet and I am much too proud to have the first show that I do in nearly five years be half-assed,” he wrote at the time.
