Paulina Porizkova posed topless for the November cover of Elle magazine’s Czech issue. She wore silver paint over her chest, and slightly beyond her belly button just above black unbuttoned slacks. The iconic model wore a straight face with minimal makeup with both hands in her pockets.
Paulina admitted to feeling most powerful with nothing on, as it enables her to “show myself as I am.” “This is where my power lies,” she wrote on Instagram. She referred to the silver on her skin as armor that “deflects darkness and reflects light” but allows her to “feel everything.”

Confidence has been a constant quality with Paulina since she began modeling at 15. The 58-year-old explained that she was “brought up in a culture and time where nudity was common and absolutely accepted as a part of being human,” hence she has never had to feel shameful about her body. “A woman who is not ashamed for being exactly who she is. A woman who refuses to be shamed,” Paulina added.

The mother of two, who is known to share photos in her birthday suit, feels like she has nothing to hide when she goes bare. “I do not feel like this woman every day, but this is the woman I’d like to become. The one who claims her space without apologies, without guilt, without shame, and — with or without clothes,” she noted.
Her boyfriend and fans applaud her
Paulina took the chance to appreciate her boyfriend, Jeff Greenstein, who supported her during the “special” shoot. “After this shoot, I asked my love, Jeff, how it made him feel to see me so exposed on a set. ‘You were the most powerful person in the room,’ he replied,” Paulina recalled in her caption.
Fans also admired Paulina for her daring choice to go topless on several occasions. “Just so POWERFUL! What draws my attention the most isn’t the nudity but the confident strong look on your face!! . . . No apologies ever for your choices EVER. Love and Hugs,” a follower gushed.
Another called her a “warrior,” and others agreed, praising the multiple-time author’s courage. “I love this and everything you stand for. I admire you for so many reasons but especially the way you have the courage to speak out about so much that needs to be seen and heard,” someone else added.
