Donny Osmond’s Family Photos: Meet His 14 Grandchildren!

Former teen idol and TV star Donny Osmond is a granddad to 14 grandchildren at 65 years old. The iconic musician shares five children with his wife of 45 years, Debbie Osmond, and the duo welcomed their first grandchild in 2005, followed by many more to form their big, happy family.

Osmond’s close-knit home is one to admire as they spend quality time together on vacations and showing up for his concerts. He told PEOPLE in an August interview that he simply takes the backseat and enjoys being grandpa during big family events. “Not a celebrity, not the head of the house with my wife, none of that. It’s just like grandpa’s in the corner playing with the grandkids,” he said. “That’s what I like to do.”

Grandpa’s birthday

Osmond celebrated his birthday in 2016 with a photo of himself and his son, Chris, having a joint party. “All but two of my grandkids helped us blow out the candles,” he captioned the photo of him and Chris surrounded by the kids.

Meeting Willem

Grandson Willem joined Osmond’s big brood of grandkids in September 2017. The celebrity actor proudly showed off the infant in a snap with the caption, “Say hello to my sweet little Willem River Osmond.”

Family vacation

Osmond and his family flew to Hawaii for a vacation in 2016. “Our family trip to Hawaii would’ve made for a very funny reality show. Put together 8 grandkids, 5 children, 3 wives, and my sweetheart of 38 years and you get a whole lot of priceless moments,” he wrote.

Backstage grandkid pass

After Osmond’s performance at the Sandy Amphitheater in Utah, he shared a cute backstage moment on his Instagram. “It’s always fun when the grandkids come to see Bapa perform!” he remarked, noting his grandkids’ nickname for him.

Happy Holidays

The Osmond clan posed for photos with Santa last year, and Osmond shared the group photo to his Instagram to wish his followers a Merry Christmas. “May the light of Christmas shine upon you, and may we all find ways to share that light to others with unconditional love and kindness. So, from our family to yours, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays,” the caption read.

Grandkid number 14

Osmond introduced his latest grandchild, Dune Tyler, in June with a photo of him smiling at the newborn. “You truly are an angel from heaven,” he wrote with a heart emoji, after thanking his son Chris and Alta for birthing Dune.

Poolside fun

Osmond enjoys an icy treat with the kids as they relax by the poolside during the summer. “I could use a large dose of grandkids, pool time and popsicles right about now. Kids, who wants to come push Bapa in the pool again?” he joked.

Father’s Day

Osmond spent Father’s Day last year with his grandchildren, sharing an adorable photo of him in an apron and cozying up with them on a couch. Fans were blown away by the simple, yet warm photo with one commenting, “I love how relaxed you look Donny. Your grandkids are so cute.”

Out in Vegas

Osmond took his family to see magician Farrell Dillon at The Magic Attic after they arrived in Las Vegas for his show.

Grandpa at the game

Osmond is known to show up at his grandchildren’s sporting games as a supportive granddad. He attended a basketball game in January 2022 with his beau, Debbie, as they posed with their grandkids for photos. “Is there a better way to spend our time other than watching our grandchildren play basketball? Absolutely not! It’s the best,” his Instagram caption read.
