Courteney Cox’s 19-year-old daughter is mad she would not get to wear Cox ‘90s wardrobe since she got rid of it. Coco, who Cox shares with her ex-husband David Arquette, has taken an interest in old-school style, and her mum considers it “so funny.”
For Cox, her old clothes are nothing to be nostalgic about— if anything, she prefers more recent trends. “When I look [back], I don’t go, ‘Oh, I wish I could wear those clothes again.’ Of course I didn’t save them. But it’s funny because all Coco wants is everything I wore back then,” she told Refinery29.
Cox does not want Coco in her ‘90s era
Cox, who played Monica Geller on Friends, did not save her old clothes on purpose. She also did not want her daughter to follow the ‘90s trend of thinner eyebrows because her full brows are beautiful. “I won’t let her pluck her eyebrows. I mean, I can’t tell Coco what to do, she’s 19,” she explained. “But she has incredibly beautiful arched, thick eyebrows.”

However, Coco continued to pluck her eyebrows, raising concerns from Cox, who has suffered thinning brows. “There was a time when she started to pluck and I got really anxious about it because I know if you pluck too much, they don’t grow back,” she said. “Luckily she didn’t continue that and her eyebrows are still incredible.”
Cox’s ‘90s fashion
Back then, Cox’s brow hairs began to fall out due to overmedication for her thyroid condition. “If you look back at old pictures of me, I had such thin eyebrows,” she said. To fix this, she “put Latisse on them” and opted for microblading to fill them and save time.
For her hair, Cox’s go-to was the “biggest bouffant hairdo, back teased, little flip ups,” thanks to her hairstylist, Chris McMillan. Now, she pays less attention to styling her hair and prefers the easy wash-and-go method. “I really love all of Jen’s products, Lola Vie, but I just need something to weigh my hair down a little bit,” she added, crediting her co-star’s haircare line.
