Seger concluded his Travelin’ Man tour, which became his final tour, on November 1, 2019. However, in a surprising turn of events, the 78-year-old music legend, who had been enjoying a well-deserved retirement, recently made a rare stage performance in Nashville.

Seger and the Kentucky-bred country singer share a deep and enduring friendship that has spanned many years. One notable instance of their artistic partnership was when they joined forces to produce the song “The Answer’s in the Question,” which found its home on Seger’s 2006 album, Face the Promise.
