Magnum, P.I. star Tom Selleck was recently seen wearing a full bushy beard at a McDonald’s in Los Angeles, contrasting his usual handlebar mustache. The -year-old wore a black T-shirt and shorts as he drove his pick-up truck to the drive-thru near his San Fernando Valley home.
Due to the writer’s strike, which ended last month, Tom took a long break from working on the drama series Blue Blood and hardly made any public appearances until recently. The father of two has played NYPD Police Commissioner Frank Reagan throughout the thirteen-season run of the show.

The actor celebrates another year with Jillie Mack
Tom celebrated the anniversary of his second marriage of over three decades in August. The icon was divorced when he met his current wife, Jillie Mack, while she was starring in the musical Cats. “I don’t think the infatuation stage of any relationship lasts forever, but it can grow into something. It just grows more satisfying. You become true partners,” he said of his relationship with Jillie.
Since their relationship blossomed, the veteran actor has led a more private life, even slowing down on work to focus on his family. “And I’ve always treasured the balance between work and time with my family. It’s always about them,” he told PEOPLE in 2020. His first marriage to actress Jacqueline Ray ended in 1982 after ten years together; they share one son.
