Jane Seymour showed off her new beau on Instagram, noting via the caption that she has “never been happier.” The 72-year-old actress posed beside her musician boyfriend, John Zambetti, in a body-hugging gold mini-dress and a gray textured cardigan.
John wore a dark blazer and trousers over a buttoned-up white shirt as they smiled for the poolside shot. Fans and celebrity friends commented on the post, including Lindsay Lohan, who dropped a heart-eyes emoji. “It’s great to see you, so happy John’s a really nice guy. Good for you, Miss Jane,” actor Joe Lando wrote.
In April this year, Jane was in a relationship with movie producer David Green, whose proposal she turned down after nine years together. “I just said I would never put a number on his name. It would be the most horrible thing in the world,” she told The Times.
Since there was no explicit news about her relationship with David ending, a fan asked, “What happened to David?” in the comments, to which the British actress graciously responded. “We decided we were better as friends,” she answered with a smiling emoji.
An insider close to Jane confirmed that she is enjoying her newly found love with John, a guitarist and longtime member of a British Invasion-style rock band, The Malibooz. “John’s love of fun and adventure matches Jane’s, and has been so lovely to watch the two of them grow closer,” they said.
The actress has been married and divorced four times to Michael Attenborough, Geoffrey Planer, David Flynn, and James Keach. Jane’s marriages and love life so far have taught her ‘to let go.’ “To try to find a way to communicate and keep what was good in the relationship,” she added.
Jane says she is still friends with all the men in her past and admits that being with someone like herself could be challenging. “I’m still very, very close to all the men I was married to and every man I ever dated, to be honest,” she said. “You see, I think it’s hard to be with somebody who’s well-known and on the red carpet.”
