Vera Wang is known for her youthful looks, despite being in her 70s. The designer and fashion icon is the poster girl for remaining forever young, as she has managed to beat the usual aging process, leaving her fans wondering how she maintains her looks so perfectly.
The New York-born business guru recently posted photos featuring her fellow designer, Keith Lissner, who attended the US Open at the Arthur Ashe Stadium alongside other celebrities. Wang kept it simple with a pair of big sunglasses and a US Open cap as she showed off her event wristband in the photos.
Fans were quick to comment on Wang’s photos which she captioned “Tennismania.” They complimented her gorgeous skin and asked for beauty tips. “I’m convinced she’s in her 20s. What kind of sorcery is this?” an astonished follower asked. “Vera does not age,” another wrote, noting the obvious. The socialite also shared more snaps from the event in her subsequent posts.
Wang revealed her love for vodka in an interview with People, adding that it keeps her young. “One of the things I am known to like to do is have a vodka cocktail,” she said. “There’s no question about that, I do. I have a vodka at some point after five or six o’clock, towards seven.”
In addition, work keeps the successful businesswoman young and active. “Work was my lifeline that kept me feeling relevant and challenged me over the years,” she told Elle magazine. “I think the mind is more powerful than one could ever understand. The challenges that work and life present us is what keeps us going.”
However, Wang noted that she does nothing extreme to “preserve youth in a fanatical, obsessive way” but keeps it simple and focuses on her work instead. “I’m confronted with a bit of a moment now where so much has been said about my aging. I just hope that it doesn’t supersede my work. It brings up the issue of ageism, and I don’t want to be pigeonholed,” the mother of two added.
