Christie Brinkley is a proud mom to her two gorgeous daughters, Alexa Ray Joel and Sailor Brinkley-Cook. Recently, Christie and her daughters spent quality time together on a girls’ night out, with stunning selfies on Sailor’s Instagram page to prove it.
The 25-year-old posted two photos, one with her sister and the other featuring all three, with the caption, “Opposites attract.” Alexa responded to her sister’s post in the comments, calling her “The sun to my moon. My favorite opposite in the world… I love you so much, Baboosh.”
Sisterly love
Unlike Sailor, who took her mother’s blonde hair and rounded facial features, Alexa has dark hair and has her dad’s eyes. In the comments, Alexa again called her sister “the sunflower to her rose” and then asked her to send photos from their night out.

Christie’s girls get along great
The former Sports Illustrated model had her daughters from two previous marriages to Billy Joel and Peter Cook. Like their mom, Sailor, the youngest, is also a model. She has walked runways with Christie and worked with publications like Vogue and SI.
Like any good sister, Alexa has Sailor’s back. In a 2017 interview with PEOPLE, she called her younger sister a “young, spunky, sassy, bold, perfect little sporty model.” Alexa, on the other hand, took after her father to pursue a music career. She has released several singles, including her 2021 track, “Seven Years.”
