Two-Year-Old Grace Warrior Is Already Studying Up In Treetop Photo With Bindi Irwin

Young Grace Warrior is already facing some extreme situations like they’re nothing, supported always by her loving parents Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell. Grace, who turned two this spring, posed right alongside mom in a photo that proves in more ways than one she’s a daring, inquisitive spirit.

Bindi was all smiles when she celebrated Grace’s second birthday on March 25, calling her “my whole world.” Since then, she and Chandler have been dedicated to teaching Grace to keep “Admiring the world’s magic.” In one of Bindi’s latest mother-daughter snaps, it seems Grace has done just that and is even taking some initiative now.

Grace Irwin makes an “extreme” request to be like mom and dad

Late last week, Bindi shared a photo of herself and Grace spending time outside together. The photo shows Grace sat on her mother’s lap, clad in outdoorsy gear, while they’re both cradled in the branches of a massive, thick tree. All the while, both of them are reading a book, protected under some hats shielding them from the sun.

Grace wanted to read her book in a tree with me,” Bindi explained in the captions, “so here we are…” In the comments, Chandler chimed in, suggesting Grace might have said, “Read me a book…but make it extreme.”

Encouraging a wildlife warrior to flourish

Grace is featured in many photos shared by Bindi, Chandler, and the Australia Zoo; in fact, she’s already an honorary staff member of the animal sanctuary. But she’s also being taught about the world’s wondrous and weird creatures – and she’s retaining that knowledge!

Back in July, Bindi shared some footage from a winter day at the Australian beach. At one point in the video, Grace stepped into a puddle. As she waded through the water, she exclaimed, “Like a plesiosaur!” Bindi encouraged her and told Bindi she was exactly right. Indeed, plesiosaurs are extinct marine reptiles with long necks that date back to the Triassic and Cretaceous Periods. Not only did they dwell in the water, but their movements were slow and deliberate, just like how Grace moved! Both extreme and wise, Grace is already a wildlife warrior in her own right.
