Grace Warrior dons matching khakis like her dad and uncle / Instagram
Bindi Irwin‘s daughter Grace Warrior is just two but she’s already proven she’s quite able to keep up with her dad Chandler and Uncle Robert any day of the week. -year-old Bindi recently shared new images of her family of wildlife warriors, and in it, Grace is clearly seen showing the adults how it’s done, twinning with them in matching khakis.
Grace is Bindi’s daughter with Chandler Powell, who celebrates his 27th birthday this November. She and the professional wakeboarder-turned-zookeeper got married in 2020. -year-old Robert, her brother, is always ready to be around for his niece, even as he builds his career as an award-winning wildlife photographer.
Earlier this week, Bindi took to Instagram to share two photos starring Grace, Chandler, and Robert, all clad in khaki outfits, running around outside. Everyone has a broad smile across their face as they job around. The whole time, Grace is fearlessly leading the charge.
“Pure JOY,” Bindi captioned the post. “Dada and Funcle #appreciation post.” Bindi is not featured in this particular photo, but just previously, she announced that Grace had insisted on attending an Australia Zoo staff meeting; she was sure to say “thank you for your hard word” to every person she passed, drawing a lot of very appreciative laughter.
Tragedy struck the Irwin family when conservationist Steve Irwin died in 2006, struck by a stingray barb; he is survived by children Bindi and Robert, as well as wife and fellow conservationist Terri. Grace never got to meet her famous grandfather but all members of her family have been close by to support her in every way.
“Being Grace’s dada is my favorite thing on Earth and these moments will stay with me forever,” Chandler has said in a loving Instagram post. Meanwhile, Robert is always ready to uplift Grace – literally – sharing a photo of her on his shoulders in a post he proudly captioned, “Uncle life.”
It was only a matter of time before Grace donned the evocative khakis that are a familiar sight on Bindi, Robert, and Chandler; as Bindi has said of the aspiring wildlife warrior, “She just loves wildlife, and she gets so excited to learn more. She knows so many animal names. It is unreal. I mean, I guess it runs in the family.”
