Al Pacino has been in the news lately since he welcomed his son, Roman Alfallah Pacino, three months ago with his girlfriend, Noor Alfallah. However, most of his fans weren’t thrilled about the news as they questioned the actor’s decision and deemed it ‘unfair’ to the newborn, mainly because he is in his 80s now.
Recent news making the rounds on social media has truly confirmed the fans’ fears about the actors ‘selfish decision’ as rumors have it that Al Pacino and his girlfriend are set to split, and Noor has requested joint custody of their son—this means a reduction in the chances of Al Pacino being fully involved in Roman’s life.
Al Pacino’s relationship with girlfriend might be strained
In the legal document filed in a Los Angeles court, the 29-year-old pleaded with the court to grant Al Pacino ‘reasonable visitation’ access to the newborn. She also expressed willingness to involve him in decisions relating to Roman’s education, religion, and medical treatment.

Following the rumors, Al Pacino’s legal representative has come out to debunk the news of their separation in an interview with Dailymail, stating that “They [Al Pacino and his girlfriend] are together.” However, the rep did not talk about the legal document, nor did he state the reason why Noor filed for joint custody of his child with the actor.
More details about the lawsuit
As part of the legal document, Noor included an agreement between her and the actor, signed 6th days after they welcomed their son. The document, marked as ‘voluntary declaration of parentage,’ acknowledged and affirmed Al Pacino as the father’s child.
Noor also filed that the actor should bear all the legal fees relating to the case, however, she did not request a specific price for child support in the suit.
