John Stamos recently celebrated his 60th birthday by sharing a compilation of cherished pictures and videos from past birthdays on Instagram. Days after the celebration, Stamos shared a cheeky photo of himself, which ignited a mixed response on social media.
In the picture, the actor appeared stark naked while posing for a picture in a shower. Stamos looked shocked in the photo, and his facial expression and gesture mimicked someone photographed without his consent.

The photo was skillfully captured to end just above his lower back, with his right hand strategically obscuring his front view while he stretched his left hand out as if begging someone not to take his nude picture.

“The other side of 60,” Stamos wrote in the caption and credited his wife, Caitlin McHugh Stamos, as the photographer.
Netizens criticize him
Stamos’s post was met with mixed reactions from netizens. The criticism came from fans who felt the photo was inappropriate or unfitting due to Stamos’s age and position. “Cringe,” an Instagram user wrote. “Seriously, save it for your wife,” a second person commented. “STOP POSTING THIRST TRAPS.”
“Why would we want to see a [60-year-old] guy showering??” a third user questioned. “Why do old people still think they are sexy,” someone else added. “U had your turn. Get some class now.”
However, some users also praised the actor for being bold enough to showcase his well-toned body despite his age. “Omg the guy just does NOT AGE! ? 60?? Really? I think we may need John Stamos to post a picture of him holding HIS birth certificate. He sure doesn’t look 60!” a user noted.
