Following the end of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in early July, John has been staying along the French Riviera with his husband, David Furnish.
“After the tour finishes, I’m very much looking forward to closing off that chapter of my life by saying farewell to life on the road,” said John. “I need to dedicate more time to raising my children.”
Bidding farewell to a long life chapter
John’s return home seems promising, marked by negative test results and no lasting injuries. “He had a brain scan and a lumbar scan, which revealed no fractures,” revealed a source. John had last been seen publically having dinner with Kevin Spacey earlier this month and then enjoying time on his superyacht around St. Tropez.
John has shown no shortage of energy – both for life itself and in his career. But a life of touring – especially a definitive one like Farewell Yellow Brick Road – has left him ready to rest, even before John was hospitalized.
“Touring is exhausting for me now, and it takes me away from my family and my children,” he said. However fatigued he is, though, he tells fans they could still expect new music in the future.
