Nicole Kidman remains one of Hollywood’s most successful actresses. Her acting journey started during the early ’80s with her appearances in the 1983 movies Bush Christmas and BMX Bandits. Her breakthrough came in the 1989 film Dead Calm, but she gained worldwide fame with her remarkable performance in the action movie Days of Thunder.
Kidman achieved even greater success with roles in films like Big Little Lies, which earned her two Primetime Emmy Awards, one for Outstanding Lead Actress and the other for Outstanding Limited Series as an executive producer. However, despite being a fan favorite, the actress has also had her fair share of criticisms, as her followers have accused her of undergoing plastic surgery.
Kidman has witnessed a remarkable transformation through the years, which has caused speculation among her fans as to whether or not she had gone under the knife. Last year, observers expressed an apparent change in her facial appearance after she posted a picture featuring her alongside director Lulu Wang on the set of the upcoming Amazon series Expats.
“What did you do with your face?!?!?!!!? You are starting to get like a monster, it’s sad cuz you were beautiful,” a fan wrote in the comment section of the post. “You don’t look like you, Nicole,” another person commented. While someone else said, “Something is wrong with your face.”
During a previous interview, Kidman firmly denied ever undergoing any surgical procedures. “To be honest, I am completely natural,” she admitted. “I have nothing in my face or anything. I wear sunscreen, and I don’t smoke. I take care of myself. And I’m very proud to say that.”
In 2011, she acknowledged briefly experimenting with Botox but eventually chose to discontinue receiving the injections. “I didn’t like how my face looked afterward,” Kidman added. “Now I don’t use it anymore — I can move my forehead again!”
