A TikTok video making the rounds on the internet has shown that age is not a barrier when relishing some childhood fantasies. A young woman, Eileen Ruth, recently shared a video that showed her taking her 93-year-old grandmother on a date to see the newly released American fantasy movie Barbie.
The clip, which has since gone viral with 2.8 million views on TikTok, captured the moment the grandma was getting ready for the outing till they finished watching the film.

In the TikTok video shared by Eileen, the enthusiastic 93-year-old donned a charming light pink suit specifically for the occasion and also took the time to put on lipstick and style her hair which made her look perfectly sophisticated as a Barbie. “Took my 93-year-old grandma to see Barbie,” Ruth wrote in the caption. “She LOVED it. She was laughing and smiling the whole time and woke up talking about it.”

While watching the movie, the two women found time to bond with each other while Ruth asked her grandmother what she thought about the film.
