Mother Gives Birth To Third Daughter On Same Exact Day Years Apart

Walking up to any one single person, there is a 1/365 chance of having the same birthday. But Louisiana mother Jasmine Clark just had her third child that has a birthday of July 20. Her first child was born on 2011, another in 2017 – and now, a third child in 2023. All with July 20 birthdays.

Clark welcomed baby daughter Ja’Laijah last Thursday, after giving birth at a woman’s hospital in Baton Rouge. “We love the blessing of our newest little girl,” said Clark, adding, “and the fact that I can always throw one big party for all of my girls. It’s truly a blessing and something that is definitely unique.”

When asked when her daughters were born, Clark has a very easy time of it, a fact that she is aware of, even though this trend was not at all deliberate, says Clark. However, this setup does come with some challenges for the mother of four.

“It’s very expensive and hard at times but I make it happen,” she shared. “I’m not exactly sure how I did this three times, but I love every single moment with these girls.” Her daughters are Khamyria, 12, and Jaliyah, 6. She also has a son named Jamon, born in February 2014.

Family logistics

As of July 21, Clark was reported to still be recovering at the hospital. But she also voiced her excitement to bring Ja’Laijah home and welcome her into the family. Fortunately, when she does return home, she just needs to remember two dates: one for her son, and one for her three daughters, all exactly six years apart.

Back in 2021, TODAY also reported on another set of siblings with the same birthday. Mom Kristin Lammert had Sophia, then Giuliana, and finally Mia – all born on August 25. Back when she was pregnant with Giuliana, as her second daughter’s due date approached Sophia, Lammert already sensed a pattern forming. No one believed her, but she ended up being quite correct.

“Actually, Sophia said that she was going to get a sister again for her sixth birthday,” recalled Lammert. “She was wanting that to happen and I thought, ‘Well, it could.'”
