53-Year-Old Jennifer Lopez Looks Peachy Keen In Plunging Pink Bathing Suit

JLo celebrated America‘s birthday with a sweet twist. On the Fourth of July, Jennifer Lopez donned a flattering pink bathing suit that hugged her figure and featured a plunging front lined by a unique pattern. All the while, the color paired excellently with her gilded accessories.

Lopez landed her first professional gig in 1989, first kicking off her music career – in which she learned how to have “tough skin” when she was the only chorus singer without a solo – before movie stardom began in 1997’s biopic Selena, in which Lopez became the first Latina actress to earn $1 million. Jump to today, and this trailblazer became of Time‘s 100 most influential people in the world in 2018. After so many triumphs, how was her Independence Day weekend?

Lopez spent her Independence Day looking pretty in pink, as shown by a series of photos shared to her Instagram account earlier today. “Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend,” she cheered in the captions, “filled with love, family, friends and fun.” She ended her patriotic message with some hearts and plenty of bursts of light in celebration of the fireworks that lit up New York City, Washington D.C., St. Louis, and many more across the country – although some opted for a drone show in light of the extreme heat this summer.

Speaking of, Lopez turned up the heat with her pink one-piece, which hugged her hips and showed off all her curves. The low neckline was lined by an open, boxy ridge. Lopez’s subtle, rosy makeup perfectly picked up the color of her swimsuit and she tied it all together with large gold shades, thick hoop earrings, and a gold necklace with her name spelled out across it.

What’s JLo been up to lately?

This particular Independence Day looked a bit different than some of her previous ones. On July 16, 2022, she married her on-again-off-again beau and longtime work partner Ben Affleck, some 20 years after he first proposed to Lopez. The two had just gotten together in the spring of 2021, not long after splitting very amicably – all the while speaking very highly and affectionately of one another to the press. By the following spring, the two announced their engagement.

So, this Fourth of July, Lopez spent it as a married woman, celebrating the holiday with her 15-year-old twins, Emma and Max, as well as husband Affleck, and her stepchildren. Happy Independence Day to the new, happy family!
