The family dispute between Priscilla Presley and her granddaughter, Riley Keough, over Lisa Marie Presley’s estate has finally been resolved, as Riley, the daughter of the late singer, has been appointed as the sole trustee. This delightful announcement comes after Riley’s submission of a petition to the Los Angeles Superior Court on June 12, wherein she requested to be appointed as the exclusive trustee of her beloved late mother, Lisa Marie Presley’s trust.
Also, Priscilla Presley submitted a declaration of support to the Los Angeles Superior Court stating that her previous suit to contest Riley’s claim to the estate was misinterpreted. “My January 2023 petition was misconstrued in the press as a ‘fight’ over my beloved daughter’s trust (The Promenade Trust),” she wrote in the new petition. “This was not the intent. The petition was filed by a law firm that has since been terminated.”
Priscilla Presley expresses her happiness at the settlement of the dispute
Priscilla expressed her satisfaction in finally being able to put the legal dispute between her and Keough behind them. She revealed that she is fully convinced that her late ex-husband, Elvis Presley, would experience a deep sense of happiness upon learning that a legal settlement has been successfully reached with her granddaughter.

“I filed this petition to resolve all potential uncertainty surrounding the interpretation of the Promenade Trust (the ‘Trust’),” Priscilla said. “My daughter’s passing was both devastating and heartbreaking. We have learned that the fans realize that we are ‘Just A Family.’ Elvis would be proud and his and Lisa’s wishes are what are most important to all of us. My granddaughter, through her counsel, along with my team, worked diligently and tirelessly to resolve all misunderstandings as a family.”
Riley Keough is named the sole trustee of her mother’s estate
The settlement confirmed Riley as the exclusive trustee of Presley’s estate as well as the sub-trusts of her two sisters. As part of the agreement, Priscilla will step down from her role as trustee. In return, the actress will make a one-time payment to her grandmother and will also cover her legal expenses up to a maximum of $400,000.
Additionally, Priscilla will continue to be involved as a “Special Advisor to the Trust” and will receive monthly compensation from Keough.
