Céline Dion has recently surprised her fans with one of the best news in history. The “I’m Your Angel” crooner revealed via her Instagram page that she is releasing new music after taking a brief hiatus due to her health challenges.
The 55-year-old had earlier announced in December that she had “stiff person syndrome,” which is a condition characterized by sudden severe muscle spasms. She further stated that the spasms affected her daily life, made it difficult to walk, and prevented her from using her vocal cords to sing the way she used to.
Dion’s team announced the release of the song via social media on Wednesday morning. “Tomorrow. 8 AM ET,” the post read. Since the singer released the album Courage in 2019, she hasn’t produced any song until now that she is set to release ‘Love Again.’
The new music is connected to the upcoming May 14 release of the romantic comedy-drama film Love Again. In the film, the 55-year-old will star alongside Sam Heughan and Priyanka Chopra, and Céline’s new song will be included as part of the upcoming film’s soundtrack.
Dion’s return to the music scene has brought joy to her many fans, who have been eagerly anticipating her comeback. Some of them took to the comment section to express their delight at the good news. “Yes, we are ready for it,” one fan wrote. “We can’t wait for tomorrow.”
“SHE’S COMING TO END CAREERS,” another excited fan commented. An Instagram user wrote, “So EXCITED, it’s Céline’s first song in 4 years!!!”
Another social media user also went poetic to appreciate the singer and the impact of her music. “Céline…your absence pervades my soul, my mind, my heart with each passing day! The days seem endless!!” the comment reads. “Always remember that the World and I cannot be without you and your Art!!… You are the ocean that unites countries all over the World!! We all love vas Always Forever and Ever!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️From Italy.”
Also among those excited about her return are her Love Again co-stars Priyanka Chopra and Sam Heughan, who expressed their excitement in a video they shared shortly after the news was announced. The duo raved about their work relationship on the movie set and stated that their favorite part of the whole experience was being able to enjoy new music from Céline Dion.
