England’s soon-to-be King, Prince Charles, is a father and grandfather to five adorable children. Prince Charles has been married to Camilla Parker Bowles, his second wife, since 1995. The royal couple has no children together; however, Prince Charles’ marriage to the late Lady Diana produced two sons— William and Harry.
Both Prince William and Harry have become fathers, giving their dad a total of five grandchildren. Prince William was the first to tie the knot with Duchess Kate Middleton in 2011. They have welcomed three children since then. The younger Prince, Harry, shares two children with his wife, Meghan Markle.
Prince George Of Cambridge
William and Kate were college sweethearts and had their first child, George, two years after their wedding. George is at the front of the line of succession among the grandchildren. He comes behind his father, Prince William, for the English Crown.

In the COP26: In Your Hands documentary, Prince Charles spoke of his passion for climate change, “He [George] is learning how climate change is causing the big storms and floods, droughts, fires and food shortages we are seeing around the world.” Prince Charles also showed off a garden he’d named after George on BBC.
Princess Charlotte Of Cambridge
Prince Charles became a grandfather once again with the birth of Princess Charlotte in May 2015. Charlotte’s full names, Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, are from both her parents and the Queen, who is now late.
Princess Charlotte is next in line to George; however, that changes if George has children when he takes the throne. According to MyLondon, Grandpa Charles told BBC in a 2018 interview that he and Charlotte share a love for ballet.
Prince Louis Of Cambridge
Prince Louis is William and Kate’s youngest, joining the family in April 2018. On Louis’ second birthday, Clarence House shared a photo of Prince Charles giving Louis a hug with the caption:
“A very Happy Birthday to Prince Louis, who turns two today. The young Prince enjoys a hug from his Grandfather, The Prince of Wales.”
Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor
Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, got married in 2018. They welcomed their first child and son Archie in the following year. According to the Scottish Sun, little Master Archie calls his Grandfather Prince Charles “Pa.”
Charles sent a sweet birthday message on Archie’s second, with a photo of himself, Prince Harry, and the birthday boy, writing: “Happy birthday to Archie, who turns two today.”
Archie attained big brother status when Lilibet was born in June 2021. Hearty congratulations flooded in, especially from Prince Charles’ office via Clarence House on Instagram.
“Congratulations to Harry, Meghan, and Archie on the arrival of baby Lilibet Diana,” the caption wrote with a photo of Harry, Meghan, and Archie. “Wishing them all well at this time.”
