Julia Roberts and her husband, Danny Moder, are parents to twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, who were born in November 2004; and a son, Henry, whom they welcomed in June 2007. The lovers have enjoyed sharing remarkable moments of their last child on social media since his birth. Despite their success and busy schedule, they still find time to play the role of a regular mom and dad to their kids performing normal duties such as making breakfast and driving them to school.
The 55-year-old revealed in a 2018 Harper’s Bazaar profile with Oprah Winfrey that her children do not see her as a star, but as a normal parent. “I don’t think they will ever have a true sense of that,” Roberts said. “I think I told you once when they were starting to figure it out, it was like, ‘You’re famous?’ And I said, ‘I think a lot of people might have seen the movie that I’m in or might know who I am.’ Maybe an hour goes by. ‘Are you more famous than Taylor Swift?”

It is quite obvious that the second son of Roberts and Moder loves to have fun just like his father and older siblings. Henry is an avid lover of high-risk sports such as BMX and surfing, and his father posts videos of him engaging in some of these activities. In May 2021, Moder shared a video of Henry riding his skateboard on his way to school.

During the celebration of his 14th birthday in June 2021, the cinematographer posted new footage of the celebrant showing off some tricks at a skate park. “Turning 14…. turning in the air…summers turn,” Moder wrote alongside the clip.”Ya Henry.” Fans could not help but gush at the resemblance Henry shared with his father. “I thought this was an old pic of you!”
Julia Roberts reveals that she loves being a mother to her kids
The 55-year-old Roberts revealed in a 2022 interview with CBS Sunday Morning that she balances her career well with catering for her family. “It’s just never consumed me, being an actor. It is my dream come true, but it is not my only dream come true,” she explained. “The life that I have built with my husband [and] the life that we’ve built with our children, that’s the best stuff. To come home at the end of the day, triumphantly, to them.”
She also explained that even though she loves her children, she does not pamper them. “I’m a strict mom, I don’t really lose my temper, but I think it’s important that children know their boundaries,” she told The Sun in 2019. “If something happens I don’t really punish them, I prefer to have conversations with them. I think my serious face is punishment enough. I don’t want them to have had some of the struggles I had as a child, but you do need to know how to make your bed, do your laundry and how to make a meal. These are important life skills. They have to run their own race.”
