Ringo Starr Forced To Cancel Several Shows In Canada After Falling Ill

Beatles drummer Ringo Starr has canceled some of his shows due to COVID-19. Ringo was diagnosed with COVID-19 and is currently recovering at home. He was forced to cancel several shows in Canada and in the Midwest.

The affected shows were in Abbotsford, Penticton in British Columbia, Winnipeg, Manitoba, the Saskatchewan city of Saskatoon, and Lethbridge in Alberta. He also had to cancel shows in New Buffalo, Michigan, and at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake, Minnesota.

A statement from the All-Starr Band read, “Ringo hopes to resume as soon as possible and is recovering at home. As always, he and the All Starrs send peace and love to their fans and hope to see them back out on the road soon.”

Ringo’s All-Starr Band includes Colin Hay, Steve Lukather, Hamish Stuart, and Edgar Winter. So far, the band has not announced when the canceled shows will be rescheduled but the rest of the tour remains the same.

Ringo and Paul McCartney are the only two surviving members of the Beatles and regularly tour on their own and create their own music these days. Wishing Ringo a very speedy recovery and hoping he can resume his tour soon!
