Arnold Schwarzenegger has enjoyed a successful run of fame in politics, entertainment, business, and family. However, the Terminator star has proven himself incapable of keeping secrets. This has made his relationship with his family and friends difficult to maintain.
Recently, during an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Arnold revealed that his eldest daughter, Katherine Schwarzenegger, who married Jurassic World star Chris Pratt, does not trust him enough to tell him the sex of her second baby, because of his tendency to spill the beans. “I really don’t know,” he somewhat feigned innocence, “but I do blow it a lot of times, because I can’t shut my mouth. It could easily be that they know. I don’t know. And, also … she cannot trust me.”
How’s that for a clear answer?
He gave another reason for not knowing the gender of the child
In good faith, he tried to justify the reason Katherine might not be willing to tell him the sex of the child: “I remember that my (ex) wife never wanted to know. It was always a guessing kind of a game. I think because Katherine is a lot like Maria, she will probably go in the same direction and not want to know. It’s just a guess.”
Arnold is happy to be a grandfather
The Predator star further revealed his enthusiasm about being a grandparent, stating, “I’ll tell you one thing: it is the easiest thing to be a grandfather, because they come over to the house, you play with Lyla for around an hour or two, I put her on the horse, I put her with the dog, I play with the dog, and after two hours, they leave. Over. It’s fantastic, I tell you.”
Interestingly, the Commando star showered praises on his daughter and revealed how much he enjoys having her family around. “I love my daughter Katherine; she’s so wonderful and I’m so proud of her,” he said. “When they come over, the whole house lights up.”
