- Elton John will be the host of Living Room Concert for America.
- It will be an online show to benefit those on the front lines of this coronavirus pandemic.
- The show will feature Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, the Backstreet Boys, and more.
Fox stations will air a benefit concert amid the coronavirus pandemic! The concert will feature stars like Alicia Keys, the Backstreet Boys, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mariah Carey, Tim McGraw, and more. Elton John will be hosting the gig. Of course, these celebrities are practicing social distancing, so they all will be performing “from their own homes, filmed with their personal cell phones, cameras, and audio equipment, to ensure the health and safety of all involved.”
The show goes by the name of the Living Room Concert for America. Fox in addition to iHeartMedia radio stations will be airing the show. This is in place of the HeartRadio Music Awards, which had to be postponed due to the coronavirus.
Paying tribute in the form of a living room concert
The announcement of this show comes after The Late Late Show host James Corden set up something special for his viewers at home, too. Many talk show hosts have been continuing their shows from home during this time, like Jimmy Fallon. The concert will be an hour long without commercials. The performers will be relying on viewers’ support for Feeding America and First Responders Children’s Foundation.

The performers wish to “pay tribute to the front line health professionals, first responders and local heroes who are putting their lives in harm’s way to help their neighbors and fight the spread of the virus.” Be sure to mark your calendars for this Sunday, March 29th, at 9 p.m. ET!
