As a teenager from the 1970s, I’m happy to report that despite disco, polyester pants, TV sitcoms (all with brown and orange sets) and one very huge Afro, not everything was in ridiculously poor taste. Ridiculously great taste came in the form of a “completely different” kind of comedy show from Great Britain on Sunday nights called Monty Python’s Flying Circus. Of course many of you are familiar with the program and the crazy genius of all the culprits involved: Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin. For those of you who aren’t familiar, this rundown of the Top Ten Best Monty Python’s Flying Circus Skits will bring you up to speed. Enjoy!
