Fans Worry About How Skinny Celine Dion Appears In Photos

Fans seem to have always worried about how thin singer Celine Dion is. In photos, Celine appears stick thin and looks thinner now than she did when she was younger. Of course, before the coronavirus pandemic, she was very busy on her worldwide tour. Likely, much of her weight loss has to do with dancing and moving around every night on tour.

There is one photo in particular that has fans concerned. In the photo, Celine wears a “FOMO” t-shirt and a leather skirt. The caption says, “F.O.M.O. It means Fear of Missing Out, or does it?” Many fans flocked to the comments section, begging Celine to take care of herself. Others compared her to the late Karen Carpenter, who dealt with eating disorders.

Some fans think Celine Dion looks too skinny

One wrote, “I really think that you are sick… please take care of you.” Another said, “Celine, you are too skinny.” Another fan said, “I’ve never seen her look this skinny. She looks so fragile and looks like her bones can crack with just a touch. [Definitely] something wrong here. Brings back memories of Karen Carpenter. Just saying.”

While it seems Celine did not respond to those comments, she has previously talked about her weight. She attributes her thin frame to her performance schedule. She said, “Dancing has been in my DNA all of my life. It’s a dream. And so hard! I do [ballet practice] four times a week. People say, ‘She’s a lot thinner’ but I’m working hard. I like to move and [weight loss] comes with it.”

She also said, “I’m doing this for me. I want to feel strong, beautiful, feminine, and sexy. If I like it, I don’t want to talk about it. Don’t bother. Don’t take a picture. If you like it, I’ll be there. If you don’t, leave me alone.”
