The two became a family through his steadfast relationship to her mother Goldie Hawn, and on Sunday, Hudson shared all the ways Russell has been everything a father should be throughout her life. 45-year-old Hudson is Hawn's child with actor Bill Hudson, to whom Hawn was married from 1976 to 1982. They also share Hudson's older brother, 47-year-old Oliver. The children had been estranged from Hudson for years and Kate has repeatedly insisted that Russell filled that void with grace and love.
