Actor Sam Neill has shared another health update, one that has kept up the trend of good news for the actor, whose cancer went into remission in recent years. Neill previously expressed his understanding that the reprieve would be temporary, but so far, Neill has reported feeling nothing but better. In spring 2022, Neill revealed that he was diagnosed with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, which is a rare type of blood cancer. To combat the disease, he underwent monthly chemotherapy. When the chemotherapy stopped working three months in, he then received biweekly infusions. This kept him in remission for 12 months. Here is the latest Neill has to share on his health battle. That's the active front he's putting up on the outside. On the inside, Neill is happy to report a similar upbeat energy. Upon revealing that, Neill said that he's "prepared for that," adding that while he's "remotely afraid" of that turn of events, he finds the whole situation "annoying." Even with all these complicated emotions and difficult health struggles, Neill asserts that retirement is "completely out of the question."
