She was singing "Dans un autre monde" and hopping on one foot when her pants caught on one of her heels, Hello! Magazine reported. She got right back up, gave the crowd a thumbs-up and kept singing, according to the Los Angeles Times. Her team hasn't said anything publicly about the fall. Some fans were worried. "It's dangerous. She can sprain her ankle," one wrote online. Others laughed it off: "Canadians know how to fall elegantly. It comes from growing up in the snow!" Celine Dion has opened up about her return to Paris and getting to perform for the fans again How is her health now? Celine has been open that stiff person syndrome isn't going away. "It is a progressive condition. I don't like to say 'disease,'" she told Harper's Bazaar in a cover story this August, as Global News reported. She also said there were times she was in so much pain she struggled to walk and took a high dose of Valium just to "function." Getting ready for Paris took real work. According to the same report, she did 90-minute Pilates sessions three times a week and took ballet classes with a local company two days a week. So here I am, singing for you, singing for me, singing life." The fall run ends with shows on October 16 and 17. She'll be back at the same arena for 10 more concerts from May 8 to May 29, 2027. For now there's no word on a Las Vegas return or a North American tour. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that she is "hard-focused on the Paris production for at least the next year." I seriously don’t know why she had to climb the edge of her car door just to greet fans. pic.twitter.com/vjBnbzQkEG — Arthur🇳🇬🇬🇧🇸🇳 (@AjMachalaa) September 8, 2026 Dion appeared in high spirits as she left for rehearsals, stopping briefly to greet fans and forming a heart with her hands before getting into her car. She also made the outing a fashion moment, wearing a charcoal gray midi dress with structured shoulders, oversized sleeves, and dramatic draping. Brown leather gloves, matching knee-high boots, dark sunglasses, and a black clutch completed the look. Her sons, René-Charles Angélil and twins Nelson and Eddy, have accompanied her during her time in Paris. Their presence adds another emotional layer to the occasion, particularly after they remained close to their mother throughout the difficult years that interrupted her performing career. Her Journey Back to the Stage Has Been Years in the Making Celine Dion /ImageCollect Dion revealed in 2022 that she had been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, forcing her to cancel the remaining dates of her Courage World Tour. The condition left fans uncertain about when she might perform again. She made a powerful return at the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony, singing Édith Piaf’s “Hymne à l’amour” from the Eiffel Tower in one of her most memorable performances since revealing her diagnosis. ImageCollect Now, the Celine Dion comeback appears to be entering another chapter. Seeing her smiling outside a Paris hotel may seem like a small moment compared with the enormous stages she has played throughout her career, but the circumstances make it especially meaningful. For longtime fans, every rehearsal and public appearance carries a little more weight these days. Dion is not simply preparing for another concert. She is continuing a journey back toward something she has spent much of her life doing—performing for the audiences who have stayed with her through every chapter.
