Celine Dion confirms the sad news that her mom, Th\u00e9r\u00e8se Tanguay Dion, has sadly passed away.\r\n \tShe was 92 years old and had been dealing with several months of health decline.\r\n \tIt was just the anniversary of Celine's late husband's death a few days prior.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSinger and superstar Celine Dion has sadly experienced another difficult loss in her life. Her mother, Th\u00e9r\u00e8se Tanguay Dion, has sadly passed away at the age of 92. She reportedly died on the morning of January 16th following months of rapid health decline. Celine's father, Adh\u00e9mar Dion, died back in 2003 at the age of 80.\r\n\r\nCeline confirmed this sad news herself on Instagram. She is on tour at the moment and reassured her fans that the tour would continue. Celine even went on stage the night her mom died and dedicated that show to her. \u201cMaman, we love you so much\u2026 We dedicate tonight\u2019s show to you and I\u2019ll sing to you with all my heart. Love, C\u00e9line xx,\u201d she captions a throwback family photo on Instagram.\r\nRemembering Th\u00e9r\u00e8se Tanguay Dion\r\n\r\n\r\nThe passing of Celine's mom fell on the fourth anniversary of the death of her brother, Daniel. It was also just days after the anniversary of her late husband's death, Ren\u00e9 Ang\u00e9lil. Back in 2016, Celine opened up about losing both her husband and brother within the same week. That's when she offered her mother some words of encouragement and wisdom. \u201cI said, \u2018You know what Mom? You gave birth and you took him back. You took his hand from the beginning to the end,\u2019\u201d she says to her mom.\r\nDealing with so much loss and finding strength again\r\n\r\n\r\nCeline also goes on to describe her mother as a "very, very strong person." She says that the number of kids her mom had should explain that in itself, as she was the mother to 14 children. \u201cJust to give you an example, my dad didn\u2019t want to have kids!\u201d Celine jokes.\r\n\r\nBack in April 2019, Celine spoke with PEOPLE about overcoming so much loss in her life and finding new strength within herself. \u201cSuddenly I\u2019m making all of the decisions,\u201d she says. \u201cAll of my life I\u2019ve had so much protection.
